Conversations we are starting that need to happen…

Clarity in the church is more important in today’s world then ever before. Here are some common topics we are returning to untangle the tentacles of current cult-like agendas in the church today.

Evangelist redefined: ‘Gospel’lists equipping you against the cults?

Today, cults have redefined the offices of pastor and evengelist. The Framework presents a case that God made Evangelists to equip the church (Eph 4:11), not “evangelise” the world or convert people (cults convert). But equip the church for what? It is time we stop using the unusual titles and offices of Apologist, Polemicist and recognise their official role as ‘evangelist’; and ‘Discernment Ministry’ as evangelist ministries in light of what the scriptures teach on this subject.

Cultic controversy concluded: continuationism IS cessatoinism.

Continuationism is a new doctrine that believes that the spiritual gifts were restored, renewed or revived with the birthing of what was known as the Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM) last century. We contend that this belief is cessationist due to the fact they admit the gifts ceased until recently renewed. Claiming to be continuationist by selectively interpreting historical figures who had spiritual gifts is an invalid argument, confirming their stance as cessationists.

Charismatic calling(s):
Discipleship vs. Spiritual Gifts.

Within the Charismatic Renewal Movement (CRM), many groups seek to identify and develop their spiritual gifts, sometimes replacing the call on this pursuit rather than stay true to the fundamental calling of Jesus to be disciples, grow as disciples and make disciples. We present the case that if we replace the calling of discipleship with the elevated call of operating from the ‘gifts’ or ‘offices’, we are potentially marking ourselves as Charismatic to be outside the Christian Faith. #CalledToDisciple

Worshiping worship: Golden calf revival production value

The story of the Golden Calf is an often ignored cautionary tale of people attempting to manufacture divine encounters to fill the need of spiritual experience. Some today not only employ similar idolatrous production tactics to manufacture fervor, some go far as engaging in the act of undignified worship, babbling in vain repititions, a practice Jesus condemned in his day. However, the Bible consistently refutes such disorderly practices (1Cor 14). #StrangeFire #PaganRevival

Domestic abuse, churches and cults

Dr. Walter Martin

In a scandalous interview on the Trinty Broadcasting Network (TBN) in the late 1980s, the late baptist minister, Walter Martin (author of Kingdom of the Cults’) was recorded saying,

“Let’s get the record straight, the cults declared war on the church. We didn’t declare war on them. We are supposed to respond to that but that’s not what you are getting. Instead you’re getting, ‘Shhhh! Don’t say that! That’s not loving!’

Well by that standard neither was Jesus. Because when he met the Pharisees, the Sadducees, the scribes and the Herodians, He barbecued them. […] Christ dealt with it. Paul dealt with it. Uh, we’re not dealing with them. We don’t want to face them.

The people who are telling us not to defend Christianity are the people incapable of doing it. And the danger- the danger is, not only are they incapable of doing it but they hinder those that are capable. They stand in the way of the defense of the gospel.”

It can be observed that incompetent Christian leaders today indeed not just “stand in the way of the defense of the gospel” but also “hinder those that are capable” of defending the gospel.

Spiritual abusers: cults and bad churches

In our postmodern age of disinformation, disruption and discordance, disqualified men and women are growing in popular demand, responding to the ideals people yearning to be a positive change ito combat modern-day dystopian values. This hunger for unity, community, truth and love have made individuals, families, communities, cities and even nations prime targets for the kingdom of the cults.

Often using a veil of ‘good works’ to undermine people’s values and goodness, the wide variety of their abusive teachings are designed to bolster an elite few at the expense of individusals and entire communities. However, the results of the cults only sow only division, hatred and distrust in different people groups while also diminishing the essential teachings of Christianity.

To combat the rise of the Kingdom of the Modern Cults, we at The Framework are working on the ‘Heredex’ and ‘Recognito’ projects to systematically capture the theology of modern day cults that are spiritually abusing and destroying people, families, communities, cities and even nations.

Below is a visual preview of these cults that have abused people in their cultic teachings that bear no resemblance to the teachings of Jesus and the Christian church.

ABOUT US

Mission

Our mission is to provide accurate information about the inner workings of cults and popular so-called churches, creating a safe space for discussion while promoting a deeper understanding of various cult mentalities.

We aim to break the hold of these organisations on people’s lives and encourage open and honest discussion about their impact on individuals and societies.

Jesus in John 10 states those that 'jump the sheep-gate', are thieves, false teachers that come to 'steal, kill and destroy'. The Framework exists to research and expose the cults their cult-like tactics in supposed 'churches' today.
